Ashley,

Please tell me the NHL Network is picking up some of these games. Coverage of the WJC's is pretty much non-existent here in the States.

Hey Stoosh,

I've been trying to find the answer to that. So far, the only thing I know about WJC TV coverage in the US is this:

Hockey Canada states on their website that no network in the States is schedule to air any WJC games. However, TSN will air all of their Canada games, as well as playoff games, online on TSN Broadband. The live broadcasts are only available to those in Canada, but Hockey Canada said that, starting one hour after the conclusion of the live broadcasts, the games will be made available on-demand for everyone - including those outside of Canada.

So, the good news is that you should be able to catch about 10 games online, but you'll only be able to catch US games if they make it to the quarterfinals/semifinals/finals.

That being said, I haven't been able to confirm that the NHL Network will not be showing any WJC games.

BUT...usahockey.com will be offering an All-Access Pass to the WJC that includes 'exclusive, behind-the-scenes video offerings of Team USA.' You'll get game highlights, interviews with players and coaches and feature stories beginning during training camp. It starts December 16th.

Hope this helps! If I find anything about the NHL Network, I'll post it on FF.com
